    • Workforce Disruption and Skills Gap in the AI Economy Rapid advancements in artificial intelligence and automation are reshaping labor markets, creating both opportunities and displacement risks. Many traditional roles are being augmented or replaced, while new high-skill jobs require competencies that the current workforce may not yet possess. This mismatch has led to a growing skills gap, particularly in technology, data, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Without targeted investment in reskilling and education, segments of the workforce risk long-term unemployment or underemployment. Strategically aligning workforce development with emerging economic demands is essential to maintaining U.S. competitiveness.
    • Healthcare Costs and Access Inequality. Our Nation continues to grapple with persistently high healthcare costs relative to other developed nations, with uneven access to quality care. Even insured individuals often face high deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses, leading to delayed or foregone care. Prescription drug pricing remains a major contributor to financial strain, particularly for seniors and those with chronic conditions. These cost pressures reduce disposable income and can push families into medical debt, a leading cause of bankruptcy. Addressing systemic inefficiencies and pricing transparency is critical for both economic stability and public health outcomes.

    The Foundation of the promise

Honored and humbled to meet Congressman James Walkinshaw

    •  Federal Workforce Displacement and Institutional Erosion
The federal workforce is facing increasing pressure from budget constraints, political scrutiny, and modernization efforts that emphasize automation and outsourcing. Proposals to downsize agencies or reclassify civil service roles have created uncertainty, lowering morale and raising concerns about job security among federal employees. This environment risks the loss of institutional knowledge and experienced personnel who are critical to maintaining continuity in public services and national operations. Additionally, persistent rhetoric targeting federal workers can undermine trust in government institutions and discourage talent from entering public service. If not managed strategically, workforce displacement could weaken service delivery, regulatory effectiveness, and overall government performance.
    • Stagnation vs. Inflationary Pressures While nominal wages have seen increases in recent years, real wage growth has struggled to keep pace with inflation, eroding purchasing power for many Americans. Essential goods—such as food, energy, and transportation—have experienced notable price volatility, disproportionately affecting lower-income households. This imbalance creates a structural squeeze where workers are employed but still financially strained, often referred to as the “working poor” phenomenon. Additionally, productivity gains have not been evenly distributed, raising concerns about income inequality and wealth concentration. Sustained inflation without commensurate wage growth threatens long-term consumer demand and economic resilience.

    • National Debt and Fiscal Sustainability
The growing federal debt continues to pose long-term risks to the U.S. economy, now exceeding levels that raise concerns about fiscal sustainability. Rising interest rates have increased the cost of servicing this debt, consuming a larger share of the federal budget and crowding out discretionary spending. This limits the government’s ability to invest in critical areas such as infrastructure, education, and defense. Persistent deficits also reduce fiscal flexibility during economic downturns or crises. Without structural reforms to spending and revenue, the debt trajectory could constrain future economic growth and policy options.
    • Supply Chain Vulnerabilities and Domestic Manufacturing Decline
Recent global disruptions exposed significant weaknesses in U.S. supply chains, particularly in critical sectors like semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and energy. Heavy reliance on foreign manufacturing—especially in geopolitically sensitive regions—has heightened national security and economic risks. While there is a renewed push for reshoring and domestic production, rebuilding industrial capacity requires time, capital, and skilled labor. Bottlenecks and logistical inefficiencies continue to contribute to price volatility and inflationary pressures. Strengthening supply chain resilience is essential for economic stability, national security, and long-term competitiveness.

I am thankful to our communities

I am thankful for overwhelming support and trust in me in our last election in 2024 for the Texas House District 61. My campaign was all about Working Families, Red, Blue or Independent. The warmth of Texas isn’t just in the weather, it’s in the people, the culture, and the way we live. I love Texas and our people. I will always put Working Families over politics. I will work hard and with integrity for all Texans. My common sense policies for working families are below.
